Una passeggiata through the streets of Milan wouldn’t be complete with a little window shopping at some of the local boutiques. Here are a few of our favorites in Italy’s fashion capital.
10 Corso Como
First opened by Carla Sozzani in 1990 as a gallery space, this destination was soon joined by a bookshop and café, before becoming the store of today. Carrying a variety of top womenswear brands in the shop space, the aim of this boutique is to combine culture and commerce by creating a location dedicated to fashion, food, art, design and photography.

This eight-floored department store, centrally located in Piazza Duomo, carries a huge variety of clothing, accessories, and home goods. The flagship Milan location is complete with an international Food Hall on the top floor, offering great cityscape views along with international cuisine for a little added flavor.

Cavalli E Nastri
Among all the high-end shops of Milan, this vintage boutique is one of Milan’s most celebrated. While the shop is full of previously loved items, it is not your typical thrift store. Complete with beautifully arranged displays and pristine items from luxury designers, this vintage shop holds its own Milan’s trendy Porta Ticinese neighborhood.
Made in the Shade
Housed in a former macelleria, or meat shop, this boutique offers a variety of fashionable items with a decidedly bohemian vibe. The shop’s design concept preserves the space’s butcher past with apparel hanging from meat hooks around the shop and decorations suspended from the ceiling. This location is also a space for art and photography exhibitions, with a focus on new design talent.
